FLARE ROBOTICS #8054

INFORMATION

Who is Flare Robotics #8054?

Starting out as a small glimmer in 2019, Flare Robotics has grown into a powerful flare with 5 mentors and 27 students. With each season, we continue to grow not only improving our technical skills, but also developing our abilities in communication, leadership, and social responsibility.

We support one another not just in the areas where we are strong, but also in the places where we need growth and transformation. Because we know that FRC is not just about building a robot it's a journey of growth, collaboration, and sharing.

On this journey, we’ve learned to transform not only ourselves, but also the world around us and we’re still learning.

INFORMATION

What is the mission of Flare Robotics?

Our mission is to inspire young people in the fields of technology and science and increase their interest in these subjects. We aim to introduce them to robotics and coding, and if they haven't experienced them before, encourage them to explore these areas. For those already interested, we want to provide opportunities for them to further develop their passion. We believe in the importance of learning while having fun, as this will foster a genuine love for what they do. Our ultimate goal is to nurture responsible, aware, ambitious, and knowledgeable individuals who are not only competent in their fields but also mindful of their surroundings and the world. Our planet needs individuals who can lead the way into the future.

Kraken Arm

2025

Kraken Arm is the robot we prepared for the 2025 Reefscape season. It takes its name from the Kraken X60 motor we used for the robot's arm. From a technical perspective, our robot consists of Passive Intake, Elevator, Arm and Drive systems. Our robot won us the "Excellence in Engineering" award in the 2025 Ankara Regional.
